just playing around with some different textures to try and take away from the "digital look" that adding color in photoshop tends to create with images.


i'll probably be experimenting with this technique more in the future.

haven't posted in a while. been crazy busy lately... trying to get ready for a tradeshow in vegas that i will be attending next week. i'm definitely looking forward to the time outside of the office! i feel like i need to recharge my creative energy... this trip will hopefully provide an opportunity for that.

here's something i just finished up. i'm pretty happy with the finished graphic.




the final graphic is tilted like that to fit on the left shoulder of a girls shirt.

UPDATE:
just saw the finished printed shirt at budshop.com and it appears that there was some revisions to this that i didn't do and didn't know about... instead of "hickory smoked" it now reads "beechwood smoked" and also they changed my Que to Cue.

dirty

today i looked down at my keyboard and realized how gross i am.

i'm guessing most of the grit is graphite from me going straight from the drawing table to the computer. either that or dirt may actually ooze from my fingertips. i dont know which is worse... the fact that my keyboard looks like this or that i didn't even notice it until just right now.... or maybe that i decided to take a picture of it instead of clean it.
